The Thirteenth Edition of the Mantovani International Guitar Festival will take place in Follonica from March 29March to April 5, 2022, finally resuming a tradition that had to be interrupted due to the Covid pandemic! The concerts will take place in the Sala Leopoldina of the Fonderia Leopolda Theater and inside the Maremma Museum of Cast Iron Arts (MAGMA) The first part of the Festival will be dedicated to the International Competition, now in its fifth edition, which will welcome young classical guitarists from all over the world and the chance to admire precious lutherie instruments, narrated by their creators themselves. The idea of the Festival was born in 2008 by the will of Fabio Montomoli and Alessandro Nobili, his collaborator. to remember the figure of Alvaro Mantovani, historical teacher and first master of our artist from Follonica.
